Zero Four Hero recreates Filipino rapper/songwriter, Francis Magalona’s song “Kaleidoscope World” from the 1995 album FreeMan.

“Francis M has always been one of the reasons why I wanted to be a songwriter, his lyrics are so uplifting and honest…so when he departed this life in the year 2009, I was really saddened and shocked. This stripped-down version of Kaleidoscope World is my tribute to the late Francis M, it also features my son Enzo, who really loves to sing along to this song whenever I blast it on the speakers. Rest In Peace, Francis M.

My son and I recorded the song in my packed-up bedroom with just an acoustic guitar, microphone and this app called Garageband. The video clips were shot in Kowloon Hong Kong while we were having a family picnic and I just edited it myself…DIY!”
