Flag controversy forces K-pop Taiwanese star to apologize

We wouldn’t normally post anything regarding K-Pop…but this is rocking the Chinese speaking world on this side of the planet. A member of Korean pop group Tsuyu is actually Taiwanese and most recently she was photographed holding up two flags – a Korean flag and a flag of where she’s from Taiwan. Since it went online another Taiwanese popstar questioned whether she was supporting “Taiwanese independence” by doing this. After that, all mayhem broke loose and she was forced to make a massive apology which you can see the video below with English subtitles.

Regardless where you stand on the political divide about China and Taiwan, keep in mind this girl is 16.
