Check out this fucking out-fucking-standing 6 song demo by brand new Malaysian hardcore punk band Invalid Format! EVERYTHING about this is done right! Right from the rawness in the recording, the lo-gain guitars, the badass vocal delivery, the music itself being straight up 80’s hardcore punk rock devoid of any breakdowns. Not only that but the band harks back to when hardcore punk rock used to be about political/social issues and about taking stands against injustices around the world. In today’s world, this seems like such a novel idea.
