Yo…real talk…this is the shit. For any of you all up in that 90’s metallic hardcore game – go check out Philippines band MIHARA who just played their first show in 9 years this past weekend. Bassist Jay even commented, “I didn’t even know the last time we played a show was 9 years ago but our vocalist, Beda, just clarified”. So why the massive 9-year gap? “Beda left to work on a cruise ship and started his own lovely family when he got back. The rest of us are all occupied with work and family life. I think it’s all just us being busy adulting”.
Go check out the fullset live video below and get stoked for the surprise cover they drop and for which the crowd promptly loses their mind. In fact, the crowd seemed to have eaten up this entire performance from start to finish. “Bro, that night was so special. it all started with the Mainland Crew who wanted to bring back some of the bands that haven’t played out for a while. Plus something unfortunate happened with Dencio’s dad as he was rushed to the hospital a couple of weeks before the show, so the Mainland Crew decided to make it a fundraising show to help a brother out. Also, the Mainland Crew are on fire! They have another show coming up for Biofeedback next month! They definitely know how to throw a party!”
