According to their exceptional drummer, Japanese hardcore band NUMBERNINE says this brand new set of songs was actually recorded back in 2023. But one listen to the title track off their upcoming EP ‘New Phenomenon’, you hear a completely elevated band that is not just churning out hard-hitting hardcore – the type of hardcore the band is synonymous with. Instead, on this collection of tracks the band is getting MAD melodic…especially on those killer vocals.
