Wow! Bandung mayor holds meeting with death metal community

What???

This is amazing to me…the mayor of Bandung (we’ve reported about him before) has posted the following photo on his Facebook page:

With the following caption:

“Meeting with ‘death metal’ community (Burger Kill & Jasad) that will go to Europe to promote Bandung via music diplomacy.”

If I am reading that correctly – the mayor of Bandung has held a meeting with two phenomenal Indonesian metal bands to discuss supporting a European tour as a way to help promote Bandung out in Europe. If that’s the case – that is AMAZING!!!

This mayor needs to be praised and celebrated for thinking outside of the box!
