Vocalist of Malaysian crust punk band SVATANTRATA found dead in Vietnam

Our friend Joe Kidd from Malaysia has reported that the vocalist of Malaysian crust punk band SVATANTRATA was found dead in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:

“terrible news. I have just seen this posted by several friends. Are Disorder (Azhar) the vocalist for recent Sg. Petani crust-doom/stoner sensations SVATANTRATA was found dead in Ho Chi Minh City earlier today. According to the reports, he was found slashed in a backpackers hotel, with his traveling companion Angah still missing. Condolences to the family and friends. Al-Fatihah.”

Our hearts go out to his friends and family…we hope that his traveling partner is found alive and well. Maybe he can shed some light on what happened.
