American straight edge hardcore band Odd Man Out have had their Thailand show canceled last minute so they’re now stuck without a show and without funds to be able to pay for their onward flight to Manila. The main promoter for their SE Asian dates, the good people in Alt+, have repurchased flights for the band to at least travel from Jakarta (where the band currently is) back to Kuala Lumpur for a last minute fund raising show in order to pay for those flights to Manila.
The full announcement from Alt+ can be read below. But the most important thing is to try to stay positive and make shit happen for our guests from the US. All the band needs is 150 people! We know the show clashes with the MASSIVE INFEST show that’s taking place in Kuala Lumpur that same night. So if you can’t make it, maybe get in touch with Alt+ below to see if there’s anything you can do. Maybe donate some funds?
Let’s try to continue to show them Asian hospitality:
“We bought Odd Man Out a new flight from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, and we organised a show at Ladyboss Studio in Ipoh, in an effort to fund their flight to Manila. If we could get at least 150 people, it should be able to cover a huge portion of what we already spent to help the band out.”
All the info for this last minute show is in the flyer below and here:
