Our immense honor to do our little part in making sure this band from Indonesia gets some recognition outside of their scene and community…Aillis is a band that wears their influences proudly – that mid-90’s mid-west USA sound is clear as day…Cap N’ Jazz were way ahead of their time…they should be proud of the fact that bands all the way out here in Indonesia totally embraced that sound and attitude of creating music that was devoid of any structure – just emotion upon emotion, feelings upon feelings, opening your mouth and let those words come screaming out organically – who cares if they don’t really mean much to people when looked as a whole, sometimes individual sentence fragments can be taken apart and caressed to mean something to someone somewhere.
