Can’t ever call ANNALYNN anything but absolute warriors. This past full calendar year the band has been dragged through the trenches – not by mass media or politicians, but by a scandal created by their own, now ex, singer.

We’re not going to waste anytime rehashing any of that (you can read their statement about this above). Today we’re here to celebrate that the remaining band members have just made a surprise drop by way of brand new single and music video. And most surprisingly, the band is a 4 piece now with one of the guitarist’s also handling lead vocal duties. Sounds actually super SICK!
So we threw some questions at the band, and as ALWAYS, they wrote back immediately and stayed candid.
UA: Tell us about this new reboot! This is super exciting to see you continuing without a singer!
It’s still just the 4 of us. We want to show the world that one person cannot destroy everything we built. SoPob, our guitarist, is officially responsible for singing on this new song. But we want to state clearly, that we’re still out here looking for a new singer, but we want this song to be a statement of sorts that says that even with just the 4 of us, we can still continue without our ex-singer. This is also a good representation of us right now in the present time, even if the vocal style is different, this is the music we’ve created after all that we’ve been through.
UA: So what’s the new song about? Seems pretty obvious – but wanted to check.
Have you ever thought about raising the white flag and surrendering to fate? As a band we have considered calling it quits. But in the end, the four of us still chose to move forward to reach our final destination. Even though things will never be the same again, we’re okay with having to start from zero again if we have to. One thing’s for sure, we will never raise a white flag and give up on what we have worked hard for for almost 20 years.
UA: HARD. What is the plan for 2025?
The four of us are still trying to make music as much as we can. As mentioned above, we are still on a search for a new singer but if we waited until we found a singer before releasing new music, our passion will fade away. It’d be the true countdown to the end of the band. So all we can do is keep doing what we’re doing and if a suitable singer materializes then we’ll start going down that path.
We just hope people stick with us.
