
Similar to venues all over the world plagued with lockdowns and social distancing measures that impact their main form of business (entertainment), Hong Kong’s venues are all struggling to stay open. Most recently a staple in Hong Kong’s music scene for almost 4 decades, The Wanch, closed its doors.
Another pretty cool venue in Hong Kong, The Aftermath, is obviously also feeling the pinch.
The venue has just released a compilation record featuring bands who have performed there. The compilation is entitled ‘The Aftermath Experience Live’ and features a diverse lineup of Hong Kong acts such as Streets of Rage, The Flashback, The Side Burns, etc. The release is available digitally and on cassette.
When people say “support local” – they really fucking mean it.
