Straight Edge Band FIGURE OUT Drop 2 Song Promo Feat. Thailand’s MONUMENT X

Very cool new release by Filipino straight edge band FIGURE OUT. The new promo features 2 tracks entitled ‘Class War’ and ‘ Slice Through’.

The band sent us the following info:

“These two tracks will be part of our upcoming release on STILL ILL RECORDS.

A little shake up from 2024’s Train Of Thought, with new members come some new influences that are a good fit for Figure Out. We had a certain sound last year, but this time we want to expand a little, while still retaining that Figure Out vibe, and still paying homage to the rich history of straight edge hardcore.

These two songs go hand in hand. “Class War” is about the inevitable conflict between classes where the working class takes the power from the ruling class. Class war is a reality.

“Slice Through’, which features our friend Kyo from MONUMENT X, is about treating straight edge as a tool rather than a badge. Yes you can be the most straight edge person in the world, it’s cool, but all that time not spent on substances can be used for something, right? Create something with it!”
