Skramz Act BENNU IS A HERON Return With First Taste of New EP [China]

Guangzhou-based skramz band BENNU IS A HERON have released the first, pretty damn epic, track off their upcoming EP.

Hong Kong’s Desperate Infant Records had this to say:

“After the first full-length album of seven songs released back in 2020 was considered a satisfactory achievement. Over the three tumultuous years that followed, everyone was caught up in the tide of the times.

Five-piece Skramz band “Bennu is a Heron” from Guangzhou China, chose to turn their gaze back to themselves, to face themselves, and to contribute their true individual emotional fluctuations without analysis, only faithful recording. This is their private emotions and inner visions, whether they resonate or not is not important, nor do they expect the understanding and liking of the world. They hope that many years later when everyone revisits this work, they will have an unadulterated and true memory and find reconciliation and healing with the past.

The first single “Home, Sweet Home”, from their upcoming EP, is about self-awareness of home and belonging.”
