Ska Punk Band MURDER BY SKA Release Debut Album [Singapore]

Formed in 2003, Singaporean ska punk band MURDER BY SKA have finally released their debut album. What took the band so long? They state, “We have gone through multiple line up changes but finally last year, we settled down with 5 members. Only then, we got out of our lazy bums and record our original songs.” They started off more of a cover band covering most of their favorite bands like Op Ivy, The Suicide Machines, etc but on their debut album full of original material they hit up quite a few topics. “The songs are mostly about fighting your inner demons ( creeping / murder ), identifying and standing up for what is right ( all for the money/ whats wrong with the world today/stand your ground ) and after everything, to appreciate, enjoy and embrace those who are close to you ( Ba-dm-tsss/dance with you/sound check ).”
