Singapore doom metal band Inuka release EP

What is in the waters in Singapore man? Bands from Singapore are straight KILLING it! I know because I get to update this page daily with tons of news from around Asia and every time I get something from a Singaporean band I’m always floored by the quality of what I’m hearing!

Here’s another one from the Lion City…in the form of a 4-piece doom metal band called Inuka (named after a polar bear in the Singaporean zoo). The name “Inuka” means “silent stalker” and I cannot even imagine a more suitable name for a doom – slower tempo, plodding rhythm in both guitars and drums, all building up to a ferocious attack  – “silent” and “stalker” is the BEST name for a band of this caliber. Their female singer Florence straight RIPS it on the vocals with some immense chops in those pipes of hers. I would love to see this band LIVE.
