Singapore Beatdown Bands ANGULIMALA and KILLONSIGHT Head Out To The UK

What a great couple of months for us out here in the UK/Europe to see some Singaporean hardcore bands coming through! We’ve already mentioned bands like DESTINY, MYSTIQUE coming through…

But now, we get to help announce Singaporean beatdown bands ANGULIMALA and KILL ON SIGHT are also heading out to the UK this summer. Peep some tunes below and read on – the band responded to some questions about their upcoming dates.

UA: How did the tour come together?
I’m friends with one of the promoters that help does tours at Europe (Goncalo Morreira from SHARK ATTACK). We initially were planning a European tour but due to a shortage of days we could take off from work, we shortened the whole thing down to just the dates in the UK instead.

UA: Why did you guys to come out with both bands together?
Basically I’m the drummer of Kill On sight while doing vocals in Angulimala, so whenever we get to play overseas, we come as a package deal!

UA: What are you hoping to get from this experience?
This is actually our first time out of Asia, we do want to explore the hardcore scene in the UK as I’m been listening to UK hardcore since I started going to hardcore shows, so I’m looking forward to it!

UA: What are some of your favorite UK bands?
Desolated, Rough Justice, Your Demise, Ironed Out, Splitknuckle, Bum Dem Out…

UA: If people have never heard of Angulimala – what’s a quick way to explain who and what you are?
We are a hardcore beatdown band from Singapore. The name “angulimala” derives on a person who was a serial-killer that became a monk when he met Siddharta Gautama (the Buddha). Our influence are bands like Nasty, Rough Justice, These Streets, etc…

Go check out the band on the following dates…and hit up their IG for more info:
