RIP Aizat Azuan bin Hamidon of Johny Comes Lately – Words By Johny Comes Lately

The Malaysian scene mourns the passing of guitarist Aizat Azuan bin Hamidon of Johny Comes Lately. The words that follow are penned by the band members themselves.

Rest in Power.

Last Thursday we were shocked by the news that our brother, Aizat, guitarist of the band, passed away due to heart complications. He was a loving husband, a devoted son, a dedicated bandmate, and an even better friend.

No words can describe the emotional turmoil and sorrow that we are currently facing right now. It’s a mix of sadness, grief, weird, and loneliness mixed together leaving us with this emptiness in our hearts knowing that we won’t be seeing him again.

It is a very difficult time indeed but we know that he is now in a better place and will forever be remembered as a good kind-hearted person that is loved by everyone who knew him.

The band will be taking an indefinite hiatus to recuperate and recover but will surely come back stronger when we are ready. We would like to thank everyone who has offered his family and us their kind prayers, condolences, and support.
