Progressive Metalcore Band TAKATAK Release First Taste of New Full Length [Pakistan]

Pakistani progressive metalcore band TAKATAK are back with the first taste of their upcoming new full length.

Check out the info:

“This is our first song with Shamsher Rana as our third guitar player. Shamsher is a close friend of the band and has previously featured on our song Fault Lines as well. He handles most of the synth stuff on the new record apart from guitar stuff.

The record was written during COVID, a time when all of us were going through our own issues. For a number of reasons, the release of the record was delayed. Most of us had gotten married, moved out of our parents’ houses and were busy making a living, so the band sort of took the backseat. Glad we could finally band together and put it out.

I can’t speak on the lyrical content, maybe Ali can break that down for everyone in the future, but as far as the music goes, we wanted a bit of a departure from the long songs we had on the previous record, wanted more hooks and much harder-hitting songs in our opinion. Maybe that translates into how Free Fall came out.”

As if that wasn’t enough, the band has also dropped a second MV. Check it out further below.
