Progressive Metal Band Callous Minds Release New Single ‘Insomnia’ [UAE]

Progressive metal act Callous Minds consists of 5 members coming from different backgrounds and nationalities who share a passion for creating and pioneering a new sound. The band is infusing progressive metal with orchestral and synth elements, going from thunderous breakdowns into emotional choruses that open the floodgates, with unrelenting, head-crushing riffs.

“Insomnia is about someone who can’t sleep and is having trouble sleeping due to something that happened in their life. Whether it be losing a friend you didn’t expect to lose or a relationship ending but it is out of your hands. The words describe someone during that time in their lives. Insomnia describes something that happens more than we think and at the most unexpected times so it is truly a personal song. The song is a culmination of a series of thoughts from one’s nightmares to their most nostalgic memories. Stuff that keeps one up.”
