Progressive Metal Act InFission Release Debut EP ‘Dark Energy’ [Taiwan]

“We formed the back in August of 2021 because there aren’t many progressive metal bands in Taiwan that feature women in them,” states the newly formed metal act InFission. Though the band was only formed last year and only started performing this year, they’ve just released their debut EP ‘Dark Energy’. They’ve honed in their love and influences from such acts as Spirit Box, Polyphia, Jinjer, and so many others to create the 6 tracks that show up on this EP.

They describe the vibe of the EP in the following manner:

“The entire EP overfills the universe and generates negative pressure to expand space-time. Collision and division happen every day on Earth. Negative emotions fill our minds and we became aloof. During this turbulent era, this album would bring us out of the universe to the world we live in, then reveal the dark side of one’s heart.”
