Malaysian progressive deathcore band PURBAWARA proudly announces the release of their highly anticipated album, Withering. Now available on all major streaming platforms, the album is a testament to the band’s relentless creativity and dedication to pushing musical boundaries.
The 9-track masterpiece features an exceptional mix of power and melody. Fans will recognize previously released singles, including World Of Nifaq, Servants Of Alamin, Shaheed War, and the critically acclaimed, award-winning NARAKA. This standout track brings together an all-star lineup of collaborators: Jakarta-based one-man deathcore project Makhlvk, Riko Agus (former vocalist of SOG), and Firdaus Hashim (former vocalist of Daarchlea).
Adding to the excitement, Withering introduces three brand-new songs: They Disobey, Sins Creations, and The VII Skies. The latter showcases a stunning collaboration with Australian symphonic maestro Misstiq, adding an orchestral grandeur to the album. Additionally, the record features two instrumentals: the atmospheric opening track Withering and the orchestral, emotionally resonant Repentance.
The entire album is composed by Purbawara and produced, mixed, and mastered by Apek of Alyss A Maniac Studio, ensuring a pristine listening experience. The visually captivating album artwork was crafted by renowned artist Nazhif Tarmizi, completing the immersive experience that Withering offers.
Withering is not just an album; it’s a journey through profound soundscapes and thematic depth, solidifying Purbawara’s place in the global metal scene.
