Progressive rock band TALEDROPS return with their second single “Surrender” centered around themes of inner turmoil and disillusionment.
Taledrops’ sound is characterized by raw and emotional melodic lines interwoven with groovy rhythms and orchestral elements that add color and cinematic qualities to their arrangement. Their music reflects personal introspection and vulnerabilities, wrapped in a theatrical atmosphere that showcases their penchant for artistic expression.
Discussing the lyrical inspiration behind the single, Kiara (drummer) shared that Surrender is about a sense of loss and disillusionment. “We may have dreams that become a distant illusion as life takes a turn,” she says. “‘Surrender’ is about the struggle between the pain of letting go of what was dear to you, and the pain of futilely clinging onto hope.”
