More of This Please – Thai Punk Band Stay Awake Sign To Japanese Label Sunlight Records

Thailand based punk band Stay Awake have announced that they’ve signed to Japanese label Sunlight Records. Check out the announcements from both parties below:

From Stay Awake:

“We are so honored to announce we are joining Japan’s Sunlight Records! They will be on board with our upcoming EP and we join a community of amazing international bands. Special thanks to Hiroshi Kawamoto and Daisuke! Future is looking bright for music!”

From Sunlight Records:

“Hello guys!

I’m Hiro (川本 浩志) the label master.

I have some news for you today. A new label family was born.

Stay Awake will join the label from Thailand.

They played together with “Useless ID” on a tour in Japan last year. They attended a wonderful event in Japan!

I am proud of them becoming a family. Currently, they are working on a new album. I’m excited now they are planning to come to Japan next year. I’m looking forward to it!”

The band has previously a stellar Rise Against/Boy Sets Fire-esque EP of quality tracks entitled One Stone Away. Can’t wait to hear the debut full length!
