Philippines Krishnacore Band Not4Sale Announce 25 Year Anniversary Tour

25 years of being out there promoting Krishna-consciousness in the Philippines, Not4Sale have just announced dates in the Philippines. The band will be bringing Australian punk band I Have A Goat for this run.

Not4Sale is based in Luzon started as an anarchist punk collective organizing direct action, conventions, and traveling all over the Philippines spreading information and awareness. They introduced Food Not Bombs, vegetarianism, hitch-hiking, ecological-socio-political awareness, spirituality and DIY living to the hardcore-punk rock community.

The vocalist Balarama Das who currently resides in India:

“Everybody thinks of changing the world, and nobody thinks of changing himself. You cannot buy the revolution, you cannot wear the revolution. You can only be the revolution. All I can change is myself and just keep having a positive attitude.”

Balarama is still active in hardcore having just released a brand new issue of his zine called Gorounga Hardcorepunk Zine which he’s been running since 1996. This specific issue features interviews with: Bhakta Luis X Aponte (Jesus Piece), Paramananda Das (Shelter, Judge, Youth of Today), Doug Holland (Cromags/Kraut), Jose Rivera (Open Your Heart Zine, Peru), amongst many others.
