Philippines genre defying hardcore/metal act Beast Jesus join Envy tribute compilation

Philippines genre defying hardcore/metal act Beast Jesus have joined a special compilation celebrating Japanese hardcore greats Envy. It’s pretty rad to hear non-Japanese bands covering a Japanese band who actually sing in Japanese! The release is coming out on Zegma Beach Records and will be featuring the following bands:

Apostles of Eris (USA)
BEAST JESUS (Philippines)
Carcajou (Canada)
Crowning (USA)
Gillian Carter (USA)
MASSA NERA (USA)
Niboowin (USA)
Respire (Canada)
Shizune (Italy)

A track off the compilation is already streaming below – Italian band Shizune covering the track A Far Off Reason. The label has stated that the compilation will be released on 12″ vinyl near the end of the year.
