Philippines Band August Mayhem Release Track Dedicated To Deceased Guitarist [Rest In Power]

Death metal band August Mayhem outta the Philippines have released a music video for the track ‘Unholy Infestation’ which will be featured on the band’s upcoming full length. During the recording of the album though, something tragic took place:

“We have just released another single and music video from our upcoming album which is currently in the works. We also had an unfortunate tragedy wherein our guitarist, Francis Drona, who passed away just this week.

He was struggling with depression since his childhood, and it took its toll these past few months. He finished tracking all of his parts, mixed & mastered the song, and plotted the concept of the music video.

“Bro, if you can see this from up there, we would like to thank you for all of the memories, for lending us your time, skills & talent. You were not just a bandmate to us, and we know you know that. We’re sorry that we weren’t able to see through all of the agony you’re keeping inside. You’ll never be forgotten. You will live through us and your legacy will continue in August Mayhem.

Lastly, we dedicate this release to him. He will be missed, eternally.”
