Philippines and Canadian Hardcore Unite On New Split – KARBINE/FOR ONE HATE

Very cool news submission today! Canadian hardcore joins forces with Philippines hardcore on a brand new hard-hitting split.

Read more below:

This split started with two bands from different countries talking online and realizing they wanted the same thing: to make heavy music together. KARBINE from the Philippines (2200 CREW) and FOR ONE HATE from Canada teamed up, and the result is a simple but solid split EP that shows how two scenes can connect through hardcore.

Karbine HC opens their side with “Searing Pain.” It’s a straight call-out track—anger boiling, heart hurting, and a promise to take down the problems in their community. No fancy lines, just real frustration. Their next track, “On Sight,” features Jack Stewart of Vex HC (Australia Hardcore). And feels like something built for pure pit violence.

For One Hate responds with “Frozen Solid” and “Cold Steel,” with “Cold Steel” featuring Nitisiart Chaihuri of Whispers (Bangkok Evilcore).Their sound hits colder and sharper, which makes sense coming from Canada. Karbine joked that their titles ended up showing the difference: Canada freezing, Philippines burning.

Two bands, far apart, but the same goal—slamming hardcore and beatdown that hits hard without overthinking. Just simple, heavy music done by people who actually live it.
