Pakistan’s death metal brilliance found in Karachi Butcher Clan

I’ve lived in Hong Kong my entire life but I am Pakistani and was born in Karachi. I have never lived there but used to visit relatives and family every summer for the first 17 years of my life. So yes, I am a little biased towards any heavy music related activities coming out of Pakistan – and especially out of Karachi.

So a band called Karachi Butcher Clan IMMEDIATELY caught my attention – because that name is so RAD! But when I pressed play up on their bandcamp page I was totally blown away…check these dudes out! They have promised that they will have a 7-track album called Rise from Chaos out some time this year. I am HIGHLY anticipating this because it’s sure to be an insane slab of Pakistani death metal!
