Ontario Hardcore Band SLEWFOOT Release EP ‘Built for War’ [Canada]

As we continue our love and support Asian Canadian hardcore bands – we got another sick one for you to check out! The band, SLEWFOOT, hails from Barrie, Ontario and were formed in 2023. “We’re highly influenced by metallic hardcore bands like Downpresser, Foundation and Hatebreed”. The just dropped their latest EP entitled ‘Built for War’ out on ICEBREAKER RECORDS out of Long Island. The label stated, “This one is an absolute barn burner to kick off 2025! Icebreaker proudly presents the brand new EP “Built For War” from Barrie Ontario’s Slewfoot. This is straight up Baytown beatdown hardcore that will have you cross-checkin fools in the pit.”

“A lot of our songs range from being about animal cruelty, trying to break clean from addiction, and being at a low point in your life and getting it together.” RESPECT.
