Noisy Punk Band KVYLE Release New Music Video [Hong Kong]

KVYLE was formed amidst the pandemic in 2020, originally featuring bassist Kelsey and drummer Underdog as a duo. After their first EP release and subsequent tours in the UK and Europe in 2022, the band included guitarist Sariana in the line-up for their appearance at Femme Rebellion Festival and the subsequent German tour, ultimately seeing the band headline the Kulturelle Landpartie Festival in Meuchefitz.

“Lies,” is a fast-moving, aggressive, and skramz-influenced song that sets the tone for the EP. Introspective and deeply personal, “Lies” explores songwriter Kelsey’s past struggles. The song was written during a period of turmoil, where they found comfort in familiarity – falling for the false promises and empty relationships that provided temporary solace. Ultimately, “Lies” serves as a cathartic anthem to a cycle of self-deception, reflecting on the struggle to move beyond the reminders of the past and embrace true personal growth.

Their upcoming EP release, titled “In The Warm Embrace Of Lies”, will release on July 19th digitally and on cassette.
