Noise bands Torturing Nurse and Slay Your Boyfriend release a split cassette tape

“Shanghai, China based Torturing Nurse and San Juan City, Philippines based Slay Your Boyfriend release a split harsh noise album in C60 cassette tape format. This album is loud, chaotic and pain-inducing sound. They throw every imaginable distressful frequencies in your delicate eardrums. With high, mid and low banging cracklings that will diagnose you to kill yourself quickly or not.

Joab of Gunshot Wounds (Powerviolence outfit from the Philippines) provided raucous vocals on one of Slay Your Boyfriend’s track titled “Trench Warfare” which can be stream via Slay Your Boyfriend’s bandcamp page.

The tape is home-dub and the album design is created by the artist, a very DIY indeed. The split album is presented by NoisebathPH (a collective of noise and experimental artists from the Philippines) and available via the artists facebook pages. Limited to 30 copies only. And oh, they like to keep it old school, which is why the usual web-streaming of the other tracks is not available.”
