Newly reformed grind-death metal band Elysium release new single [Hong Kong]

Newly reformed grind-death metal band Elysium have released a new single by way of a lyric video [Hong Kong]. The band simultaneously also announced their new lineup pictured above. What we love about this particular track, besides the awesome Hong Kong movie samples thrown in, is that the track is SUPER RAW! The recording is not the disgustingly overproduced garbage that you hear in anything “metal” related in the past 10 or so years. You know what we’re talking about – where it sounds like a bunch of machines put these songs down and not actual people. Instead of doing that, Elysium has chosen to keep the sound and production sound like a bunch of musicians were thrown into a room and recorded the track LIVE. WE LOVE THIS.
