FIGURE OUT is a brand new straight edge hardcore band outta Manila who’ve unleashed their debut single ‘Every Action Can Help’. The band states, “We formed last year and want to revive a sound that has been dead here for some time now. Our music is influenced by early Lockin’ Out (i.e. Mental, Dump Truck, Justice) but lyrically we sing about introspection, challenging norms, and just reiterating PHC’s For Us, By Us (shout out Clean Slate).

Our first song, EACH, questions blind unity, as opposed to having a common understanding within the community and a common goal before diving blindly into the usual unity slogan. Every action, as long as it’s guided by the common understanding of our values, and aimed at the common good, can help. In short, Every Action Can Help (EACH). More songs coming up when we release our EP ‘Train of Thought’ this year.”
