New Melodic Black Metal Band Mefitis Drop Insane Debut Track [China]

Holy bananas…this just dropped into our mailbox and we’re trying to pick our jaw up off the ground. Stellar debut release by brand new melodic black metal band Mefitis out of Beijing. The band has stated that their full debut EP, Despair, will be out July 19. Can’t fucking wait! “Progressive Melodic black metal bands don’t come very often especially from China. A new band has emerged! MEFITIS is a melodic and progressive black metal female fronted project based in Beijing, China, making metal that breaks the monotony of 2nd wave worship by incorporating influences from across the metal spectrum.

Their debut release will be released as an MCD, limited to 100 copies 1st pressing Digipack.

Allen Darling, the mastermind behind this project, has displayed his library of influences throughout the 4 songs. Rexko singing brings out her raw yet aggressive tone – great start to her future in music. She did the album cover artwork!
