Nepal’s Ris Records Releases Special Women’s Day EP [Nepal]

Our friends in Ris Records out of Nepal are a punk collective whose foundation is based on forward-progressive thinking empowering the disenfranchised and thus we fully stand behind them 100%.

This past Women’s Day the label released this special 2 track EP that really blew us away. According to the label, “We released it on Women’s Day as a shout-out and shower of rose petals to all women fighting for a less macho world so we can be more relaxed and free, and do what we do with love and not aggression. For men and women equally to use our feminine wisdom towards all our actions. Ris Records exists with The Infoshop & funds Nepali women in the outdoors (check out our Ladies Mountain League Insider Facebook page – link below)”.

Today they also added really simple descriptions of both tracks:

A Side ‘Rise’: feminist punk politics with drum n bass.
B Side ‘Kurukulle’: 90’s grunge era stoner-punkcore!
