Hot off the release of a brand new single entitled ‘Love Hate Love’ (streaming below), Nepalese metal powerhouse UNDERSIDE have announced a London club date after their highly anticipated set at this year’s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL.
We hit up the band to find out more about their upcoming UK dates.
“After an unfortunate turn of events last year that saw them pull out of Download Festival due to visa delays, Underside is set to make a fiery return to UK stages this June. The band will once again take their place at Download UK, followed by a headline show at the iconic 100 Club in London—two events marking not just a return, but a powerful comeback.

“This feels like coming home,” says Underside. “The UK is where we first started dreaming of becoming a band. It’s been a place that has consistently embraced us, and we’re grateful for that.”
Indeed, Underside has etched their name into the history books as the first Nepali band to perform at prestigious UK festivals like Bloodstock and Download. Their presence has sparked inspiration across the South Asian heavy music community, offering a path forward for other bands from the region to follow.
But this return means more than just another tour. Behind the scenes, the band has weathered a storm of internal struggles and uncertainties—navigating conflict, doubt, and a period of intense soul-searching.
“We’ve been through a lot,” the band shares. “It was a time of push and pull, but we’ve come out stronger. From the underside to the other side, we’re now ready to unleash everything we’ve kept bottled up.”
Their passion doesn’t stop at the stage. Offstage, Underside is the driving force behind METAL FOR NEPAL, a UK-registered charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children in the Himalayan region of Nepal. Their recent initiative, Warm Smiles, provided winter jackets to students across 22 schools in the remote Rukum region.
“We are very aware of our privilege—and the stark reality faced by many children in Nepal,” the band explains. “Our aim has always been to channel the power of art and community into something greater. This is about more than just music; it’s about making a difference.”

TICKETS FOR THE LONDON CLUB DATE HERE.
As they gear up to electrify audiences once again, Underside is promising a performance charged with emotion, grit, and gratitude. Their London show will be made even more special with fellow heavyweights KING STREET joining the lineup—adding to the energy of what’s set to be an unforgettable night.
“We’re bringing the rage, and we can’t wait to reconnect with our fans—old and new,” the band says. “See you on the Underside.”
