Metallic Hardcore Act FINAL WAR Drop Two New Tracks [Malaysia]

FINAL WAR returns with two new tracks, “Born From The Darkness” and “Final War”, and they don’t hold back for a second. Pulling from the lineage of metallic hardcore and old-school metalcore, the band channels a sound that feels violent, suffocating, and straight-up malicious.

Featuring Mutation, “Born From The Darkness” grinds forward with punishing riffs, bleak melodic tension, and an atmosphere that feels like it’s closing in on you. There’s a clear influence of bands in the vein of Contention, All Out War, and Maroon—but Final War twists it into something raw, local, and unfiltered.

Released as part of a 2-track drop under GET MONEY RECORDS in collaboration with Futura Records (Bandung, Indonesia), this is another sign that Southeast Asia’s underground isn’t just growing—it’s getting meaner.

“This song came from a place we don’t usually speak on,” the band shares. “It’s about everything that builds up over time—pressure, anger, and thoughts that don’t really leave. Sometimes you try to ignore it, sometimes you think it’s gone, but it always finds a way back.”

There’s no attempt to clean it up or make it digestible. “We didn’t write this to give answers or make it sound pretty. This is just what it feels like when it gets too heavy to carry, and there’s nowhere else to put it.”

And that’s exactly why these tracks hit the way they do. They aren’t made for passive listening—they’re something you feel when everything starts closing in. No filters, no distance—just weight, release, and impact.

“In a way, these songs are just us letting it out the only way we know how.”

No redemption. No light. Just impact.
