Metal Hammer gives some much deserved love to China’s black metal scene

Man…Metal Hammer is one of the best magazines on the planet and for them to really look out for bands, scenes from other places besides the US is much appreciated.

A couple days ago they put up this really cool article chronicling the Chinese black-metal scene. Super informative article that is worth your time to read through it especially if you want to know the history of metal in a country like China. Of course with any article that tries to do a quick summary of a certain scene or genre of music, they’re going to miss a lot of other bands that should be on this list. But the point is not to detail EVERY single band in China…this is to give you a little bit of an insight of how things work up there.
