Metal Band Callous Minds Release New Single ‘Pool of Lies’ [Dubai]

Dubai-based progressive metal band Callous Minds has released a new single entitled ‘Pool of Lies’.

“I think our core giveaway from this song would be to rationally analyze a situation involving someone else. One can enter a major downward spiral when an individual isn’t in the right headspace. The person loses trust, faith, and hope at a certain point. Not just in the person inflicting the damage, but others, as this carries on as trauma, making it difficult for the individual to connect again later. The track talks about a broken heart, a calloused mind, and a lost soul. As a band and as humans, we come into this world alone, and as obvious as it may be, we urge our listeners to stand strong alone and put themselves first. An individual could completely lose themselves when dependent on someone else for their happiness.”
