East Malaysian metalcore band BREATHE IN OCEAN unveils their newest single “Masyghul,” a gripping and introspective track that dives deep into emotional paralysis, spiritual erosion, and the silent battles fought within the human mind.

Drawing from the Malay/Arabic word masyghul—“burdened,” “troubled,” or “preoccupied”—the song pushes listeners into a haunting world where grief, self-blame, and mental confinement break through the surface. With crushing riffs, atmospheric tension, and raw vocal expression, “Masyghul” becomes one of the band’s most visceral offerings to date.

“‘Masyghul’ is about a mind overwhelmed. It’s the feeling of being trapped in your own head—searching for meaning, losing faith, and battling memories that won’t fade,” the band shares. “The song is heavy because the emotions behind it were heavy.”
