Malaysian hardcore punk band Split Tongue have released some demos on their bandcamp page which you can find below. I fucking LOVE the recording – straight up LIVE in the practice room recording…the way that punk rock used to be done before the advent of over-production which made everything sound way too sonically perfect…some music, punk rock – hardcore – jazz always sounds better and packs more punch in the live setting.

Having said that – I don’t think anyone is opposed to good recordings…I’m just saying the OVER polishing of records for the above mentioned types of bands takes a lot away from the impact.

Damn – I meant to just put this demo link up and ended up on a soapbox! hahahahahaha…no wonder I sing in a band – have too much stupid shit to say.
