We love Malaysia. Hands down…ever since our little band King Ly Chee started heading there in 2004 to this day…great bands, great scene, but even greater people…

Malaysia certainly likes their music heavy AF, so when a killer ska-punk band like Johny Comes Lately comes around and throws some melody and punk rock/ska vibes to the mix to balance the heaviness out in the country – it certainly brings with it a breath of fresh air. Today they released a new music video for an all Malay track called Ayuh Bangkit – which my google translate is telling me means “Come On Rise”. The track itself has a beautiful ska-filled vibe that will get you dancing on hot muggy Sunday afternoons…

This band fucking rules…you should know the name, know the music and be out there supporting them.
