Mad respect to Malaysian punk venue Rumah Api who took the proactive step to shut their doors for the rest of the month to help encourage people to stay home during these next few weeks. It is reported their are now over 500 cases in Malaysia (source).

As it has been said and reported the world over – the mass spread of this virus is hurting many different industries – not least the hospitality and entertainment industry. For many in the entertainment industry, this is what their lives depend on. For Rumah Api to close shop means zero sources of income.

Make sure you keep all that in mind and check in on your full-time venues, booking agents, roadies, venue staff, and bands…
