Korean metal and hardcore bands Pariah, 13 Steps make it to Korean Music Awards! DOPE!

Word just got out that a few Korean metal and hardcore bands have been nominated for best metal hardcore album of 2016 in the Korean Music Awards! That’s fucking amazing! And the bands that have been nominated are ALL incredible bands who released awesome music last year – check ’em all out below.

It is amazing that to the outside world K-Pop is probably what people are most familiar with, but how cool is it that within that world heavy music also gets honored? SICK!

Congrats to our friends in Pariah, 13 Steps, Remnants of the Fallen, Mahatma! We will find out on February 28 who the winner is but we can safely say that ALL of Korean metal and hardcore wins regardless just by being honored for their efforts and dedication to heavy music.
