Iranian Prog Rock/Folk Rock Act MAHAN ABDOLLAHI Release New Single [Iran]

MAHAN ABDOLLAHI returns with his new song “Form No.3” combining progressive rock with Iranian folk elements. What makes Mahan’s musical style unique, is his use of traditional Iranian melodies in his songs and the fact that his songs contain vocals but don’t contain any lyrics. He vocalizes melodies on top of his music to add a much-needed human touch while telling a story without using any words.

“Form No.3” begins with an acoustic guitar melody that has an oriental flair, gradually incorporating drums, bass, clean guitars, and Mahan’s distinctive vocal style. As the track unfolds, listeners are enveloped in its tranquil melodies and atmosphere, offering a novel experience of Middle Eastern music.

Mahan Abdollahi described “Form No.3” as follows: ‘In “Form No.3”, a storyteller narrates their past. As the narrative reaches the present, the storyteller attempts to make the audience the narrator.’
