Indonesian hardcore punk band Warlock release stellar EP

Woah…I love how the song Cabik by Indonesian hardcore punk band Warlok starts off evil as $%&* and then just explodes. The rest of this song reminds me of something that fans of Converge, Code Orange would certainly enjoy…very negative and heavy…and right when you’re thinking that, Warlok go into a short burst of melodic hardcore without the clean singing.

This is great…especially if you want something that’s less “the sound of the day” and more creative and on the unpredictable side…also, on a personal note, having a member in the band wearing a hijab in the band promo photo is BADASS! Under “genre” on their Facebook they’ve written “hijapunk” which I can only assume, with all hope, that it stands for “hijab” “punk” 🙂

First song off the EP is 100% WTF…I mean seriously – WHAT…THE…F#$%! hahahaha…trust me…
