Indonesian hardcore band Soul Are nominated for best metal-hardcore category at AMI

Wow – this is great news to wake up to! Indonesian hardcore band threw up this photo this morning from an AMI Awards ceremony last night where they were nominated for best “metal hardcore” band. That’s amazing that the Indonesian version of the grammy’s that there even is a “metal hardcore” category! And that’s super rad that a HARDCORE band is in the running!

Nominees for the 18th annual AMI Awards were announced Sept 8th 2015 ago. In a true sign that hardcore has arrived (from a mainstream perspective), SOULARE is among the nominees for the Best Metal/Hardcore Music Production category, with the song “Agresi” from the full album “Fortitude Vincimus”, which also included BURGERKILL. Here’s the breakdown:
