Indian post-rock bands are on fire…a couple days ago we introduced you to the magical sounds of As We Keep Searching and their debut album entitled Khwaab which has been on repeat on our decks all week long…

Here comes another phenomenal Indian post-rock band called A Mutual Question who have just released their second full length entitled Strangeloop. This is a 5 track release that sees a band with member’s who have a knack for this genre of music and are clearly well versed in the soundscape of this world. The opening track Dune also shows the band really trying their own twist on the sound – I love the sound of China crash cymbal thrown into the mix…something that I don’t hear often in post-rock, that little explosion of cymbals that has that slightest hint of anger. As you dive into the following tracks you get glimpses again and again that they really do put some weight in the “rock” part of the music they play – clearly sound like a band that relies more on the LIVE playing of their instruments instead of atmospheric sounds and samples.
