Thailand’s metal community lost a great person. RIP my friend.

Oh my god…what shocking news to come out of Bangkok, Thailand these past few hours. Many of you may recognize him from the Parkway Drive DVD. But what you don’t know is that he is one of the sweetest souls that I’ve ever met. My little band has been traveling to play in Bangkok since 2004 and we’ve gone over 6 or 7 times since then…he has come to every show and always beams that big beautiful smile of his. He was also an incredibly mover and shaker in Thailand’s underground metal community who ran a zine called Thai Headbandger Zine.

Today word has gotten out that yesterday morning this beautiful beautiful person died suddenly of a heart attack. I am in pure shock…

Parntep Soonthornpasatch – this world has lost one incredible human being yesterday.

Rest in Power my friend. We will meet again one day…
