Hong Kong-based pop punk band THE PUNKINS have dropped a new single entitled ‘Kill 4U’. The band states, “Our song conveys the raw emotions of sadness, angst and anger, exploring the depths of loss and the desperate longing to bring someone back to life. Moreover, the feeling of willing to do anything to bring back your loved one/ones, who you truly were affectionate or close to. We tried to emphasize more on grunge-inspired sound, heavy guitars, and energetic, gritty vocals, which “Kill 4 U” tries to capture the turmoil of grief in a way that feels both cathartic and relatable.” The band even adds a breakdown part in the song so you can see a band experimenting with sounds throughout the song.
